Vendors need referrals (just like anyone else in the service industry), and some are even willing to offer you a discount for those referrals. – The marriage certificate issued by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar is legal and is recognized in Zanzibar and/or Tanzania. After your wedding it will be authenticated by the Zanzibar Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure it is recognized by the Zanzibar Government and then registered, together with your documents, at the Registrar of Marriages.

– We will post your intent to marry for 21 days before you exchange your vows, as the Zanzibar law requires. Documentation should be couriered at least 28 days prior to the ceremony date.

– Requirements and processing periods in Zanzibar are subject to change without reason or prior, we do not accept any liability whatsoever for changes which occur.

– Take in consideration that it is your responsibility to check if the certificate is acceptable in your home country.

– You will need to be in Zanzibar for at least 3 working days before you can legally marry.

– All documents must be notarized.
